Andrew was born with a debilitating chronic illness that stole his vitality at a young age. In his thirties, God reached in and asked whether or not he believed he could hear His voice. He began to teach Andrew His expectations and what He required in order to claim that an authentic relationship existed between the two of them. As His definition began to obliterate what he used to define as knowing God, his spiritual and physical condition began to transform more into the likeness of Jesus. This change took place over a series of years, where each day he began to ask his Heavenly Father what was upon His heart. From this place, He asked Andrew to compile what He had taught Him to share with others.
Discerning the whisper of our Heavenly Father and Jesus and teaching others to do the same has become all that matters to Andrew. His passion today is speaking their words to the children of God. To see the people of God discover a depth of intimacy with their Creator is all that matters.
Andrew teaches small or larger groups by invitation and has seen many miracles of God take place when people open their hearts to hear God for the first time. The lies of religion and pride are stripped away when God’s words are proclaimed and received on a deeper level. As a victim of childhood trauma, when coupled with the aforementioned illness and previous injuries, Andrew is no stranger to difficult times. This brings a dynamic of realism to his books and presentations that touch people on a deeper level.
He enjoys hiking in the mountains with his dog. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing, writing, and performing worship music, and dialoguing with God throughout the day.
Andrew resides in Northern California with his wife and two children.
