I do not require slaves to fear, only to righteousness. One decision at a time to the glory of your God. It’s not about living to please Me, but being so in love with Jesus that you lose sight of who you used to be.
How much does My love mean to you?
Obviously, I don’t require perfection from you, only that you exist within the One who is perfect. You remember the old song that says, “turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and love.” This is an expression of My love toward you. One intentional look is all it takes. Not every moment of every day, just every moment you think of Me.
Don’t make the mistake of giving credit to your mind for thoughts of Me, but to the gentle nudge of My Spirit presenting another opportunity to look like Jesus. Stillness of heart, soul, and spirit positions you for obedience to My will. I want you to develop consistency around doing what I’m doing and saying what I’m saying. This is what Jesus came to teach the disciples and what Holy Spirit was sent to accomplish in modern day disciples. It took the disciples most of Jesus’ earthly ministry to grasp the magnitude of what they were being taught. It all made sense when they saw Jesus in the Spirit and felt the presence of Jesus from with their own bodies…the temple not built with men’s hands had been eternally illuminated with the Father’s love.
Does this sound like the current state of your temple?
Being present with Me is the light. Your attention properly placed is the entrance to the secret chamber that leads directly to where I am. Once you’re here, you realize it’s where you’ve always belonged. The key is staying longer each time you arrive. It’s recognizing that it’s within you. It’s the secret garden of the soul, the path of the head to the heart, where you abandon your physical senses as you come alive in the spirit.
Will you choose to see Me, My child?
