What are you standing in the way of?
Are you blocking progress in a specific area of your life?
If you’re not listening for what I have to say, you are definitely stopping yourself from receiving blessings from My hand. I want you to consider what I want for you before you ever consider what is right for yourself. This takes a level of dedication to being with Me that very few will ever make room for in their lives. It’s the same offer that I’ve extended to My children throughout every generation, all the way back to the Garden of Eden. And it’s the same percentage of people who say “yes” to the invitation to be near to their Father…

I want you with Me, no matter what it may cost you. I want you to consider every moment with Me to be the only thing that you have to live for. Before you make any decision, stop and listen for what I have to say. Before you allow your next thought to become more than it should, consider giving Me your full attention. It’s just that My children have forgotten their true identity and have fallen for a something less than what I offer. The attempt to live your life, doing what seems right in the moment, has kept us from being together in such moments.
Salvation is defined as choosing Me right now…because you need saving from yourself. If you live in the way that makes sense to you, how do you know that you’re not actually listening to the voice of the enemy? Until you believe that you can hear My voice and literally accomplish My will by obeying what I say, there will always be another voice commanding your existence. People want to believe that giving their hearts to Jesus one time and then doing the best they can is all that I require for salvation to be intact…but it’s so much more than that!
Jesus said, “If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father.” If you only knew the depths of intimacy contained in this phrase. Jesus was inviting people to go where He was in that moment. Don’t get so wrapped up in making it to a physical destination that you neglect to see the kingdom that resides within you. Jesus is always with Me, even when He is physically in a different location, because nearness to Me is what matters most to Him.
Is nearness to Me what matters most to you?
I want you to be in the category of those who choose to defy conventional Christianity and find your identity in doing what I do all the time. If I were all that mattered, doing what seems right to you would never be an option, that is, until you know what is on My heart. For most, stopping to wait for My word before doing anything else never crosses their minds…because they are too busy thinking for themselves. Don’t allow your thoughts to define you; Allow My thoughts to become your thoughts and then allow those thoughts to define you.
