Turn away from idolatry, My child. You’ve lived in the darkness, believing yourself to be in the light. The deception has already taken root, down to the depths of your soul. The only indicator that you are with Me is hearing what I’ve been saying to you all along, both through My written Word and spoken words to you. You cannot live on bread (My written Word) alone; you need My Spirit to point you to the place where I’m located. If you’re not hearing what I’m saying to you, it means we’re not connected and you’re living apart from Me right now. You are living outside of the gates of the city. The inner court awaits those who crave sustenance, the true meat of My word.
If you’re not hearing My voice, don’t worry, it’s an easy fix. All you must do is come to where I am and listen.
A quiet mind is the direct path to My heart, to My embrace. Don’t believe the lies of those saying that I no longer whisper to My sons and daughters. In fact, this is evidence that they’ve never heard what I’m saying to them and are living for Me on their own terms. This is not the foundation of true depth with Me, it’s the bedrock of a religious spirit that has already taken root. This is one of the most deeply embedded spirits in the lives of those professing My name, as through multiple generations, it’s convinced My children that hearing My voice is not for today.
Where does it say such things in the Bible?
You must interpret the written words through the lenses of the flesh to see things in opposition to what I’m saying. To have the words in front of you and walk away without My spiritual discernment, you are being led by another spirit entirely. Who you follow is a matter of who you hear and who you obey. If you’re not hearing what I’m saying, you serve another master. This is exactly what the enemy wants.
All you have to do is come to Me.
The longer you walk toward the voice of another, the further you walk into the darkness and depravity of the wayward soul. This is what some have referred to as the dark night of the soul. When you wander through this world without My daily words, you are navigating the world in the way that fits your perception of who I am in your life.
You see, there’s a difference between your perception, your ideas of what it means to have a relationship with Me, and actually possessing an intimate moment by moment encounter with the Living God.
