Hearing My voice is an opportunity to sense greatness from within. This has nothing to do with seeing anything you can do, but rather, seeing who I am within you. I want you to focus upon what matters most to you right now.
Who are you when you’re not hearing My voice?
If we aren’t walking together, you’re living life in a manner that is not approved. Don’t take the yoke upon yourself to figure things out…let Me take that from you. I want to show you who I am as you stop relying upon what you can do apart from Me. Life is about being full of what matters most to you.
Are the things that matter most eternal or temporal?
The answer reveals what your heart lives for. How often do you find yourself thinking about something without considering where the thought originated from before acting upon it? I gave you a mind to submit before Me and to allow Me to fill you with My thoughts as you learn to live from your heart and spirit.
Your heart is either connected to your mind, meaning your mind is in control of who I am to you, or you are living from your heart and spirit, with a mind fully submitted upon the altar. This is what it means to be a living sacrifice. I want you to let go of the part of yourself that keeps you from intimacy with your Father. If you only knew the amount of distractions, thoughts, and deceptions that you are inundated with each day…you’d be much more cautious about what you allowed into your mind and certainly what you allowed to remain in your mind for any lengthy amount of time. This is why walking with Me is the way you find truth in every moment, not just your version of truth that you act upon as it suits you. I want you to discern truth by discerning My voice before everything else.
How often are you hearing My take on what you hear from other people?
Is My opinion worth more than anything or anyone else?
Remember, My voice only speaks truth…you can’t find this guarantee anywhere else. I will never say anything that leads you away from Myself, which means that every thought you entertain and act upon apart from Me never originated from Me. You need to be sensitive to what My Spirit is doing in your life right now. This will keep you from thinking for yourself. Use your free will to actually get free. Freedom is found in being with Me and doing what you see your Father doing.
